Black Lives Matter 

They matter to our company, to our associates, to our communities and to the world. While we remain committed to supporting all groups of people regardless of gender, race or sexual orientation, there is an immediate need to specifically address the social and economic issues affecting our Black community.

We are committed to preserving and strengthening a place where every Black associate, customer and partner is welcomed, appreciated and encouraged to be their true selves. And that is true across our organization. We have zero tolerance for hate and discrimination and expect every person within our walls to treat each other with dignity and respect. Period.

We have many efforts in place currently, but know there is an opportunity to do more, and we pledge to do so. We will continue to intentionally seek out ways to expand and strengthen our efforts, both within and outside our company, to build a more supportive and welcoming world for our Black community. We will take a stand. We will be a voice. We will clearly show Black Lives Matter.

Actions We’re Taking

The world is changing rapidly, and it’s no longer enough for companies to be good at doing business. We need to be good for our associates, for our communities and for our customers — right now and for the future. Our business and our legacy are built on shared values of integrity, honesty and passion, and we believe in doing what’s right. We don’t wait for others to show us the way; we follow our values in all decisions. Following are a few of the areas we actively support with our Diversity and Inclusion efforts:

  • Associate Programs and Resources
  • Financial Education Focused on Reaching Underserved Students and Marginalized Communities
  • Civic and Nonprofit Support

We’ve been around for a while—but that doesn’t mean we’re stuck in the past.

Ultimately, we want our company to be as diverse as the world we live in, meaning comprised of people of all races, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, abilities, ages, backgrounds and more. However, we know a diverse workforce means nothing without inclusion. Having a seat at the table is not the same as having a voice and feeling like you belong. There's no magic way to ensure an inclusive environment; it's something we work towards, learn from and redefine every day. We take steps to maintain an open dialogue and take time to truly get to know the people we work with on a deeper level.
